Pelosi Resorts to Name Calling — Again
Last week, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) gave a press briefing on the impeachment hearings. During that briefing, she did something that many Dems (including herself) have criticized President Trump for doing in the past.
Upon taking questions she called on James Rosen, a Sinclair Broadcast Group reporter. Rosen talked about House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff saying he would protect the whistleblower’s identity.
The reporter then followed up by asking, “I wonder if you could explain to the American people, why the legal rights of the whistleblower should prevail in this political setting over those of President Trump, who should ordinarily enjoy a right to confront his accuser?”
The question I asked @SpeakerPelosi Pelosi as a reporter for @WeAreSinclair was fair and respectful. Her reply descended to personal insult without addressing the substance, and was accordingly beneath her office. I later asked @GOPLeader tough questions. It’s called journalism.

Instead of answering his question, which is a legitimate one, Pelosi was downright rude.
“Well, let me just say this, I will say to you, Mr. Republican talking points, what I said to the President of the United States. When you talk about the whistleblower, you’re coming into my wheelhouse. I have more experience in intelligence than anybody in the Congress.”
Pelosi made it clear she would “vehemently” defend the whistleblower, but never actually answered Rosen’s question.
The hypocrisy of the Dems is becoming more obvious by the minute.
