(AmericanProsperity.com) – On Wednesday, June 24, the Senate confirmed Cory Wilson as a Fifth Circuit judge by a vote of 52-48. He’s the 200th confirmed judge nominated by the Trump administration. This marks the first time in 40 years there is no vacancy on any circuit court.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) affirmed that this nomination, and other recently appointed judges, are “applying the law and the Constitution as they’re written,” just as they’re meant to. Additionally, he shared this shouldn’t threaten any political agenda.

President Trump has made nominating judges a cornerstone of his 2016 presidential campaign and he’s holding true to his promise. These lifetime appointments are the culmination of hard work by the Republican party to keep America strong for many years to come.
