(AmericanProsperity.com) – With Amy Coney Barrett, President Donald Trump’s Supreme Court nominee, now under the magnifying glass, many citizens have wondered whether or not Ruth Bader Ginsburg should be replaced before Election Day. A new poll shows a small majority of Americans support the Senate moving with the confirmation.
The poll was a partnership between the Center for American Political Studies at Harvard University and The Harris Poll. It found that 53% of respondents believe the Senate should consider the Supreme Court nominee now.
The poll also found that 71% of voters have a favorable view of the high court, and 45% of voters said the current ideology of the court is well balanced.
On Tuesday, September 29, Barrett began meeting with Senators after being praised by Vice President Mike Pence:
In Judge Amy Coney Barrett we have someone of great character and great intellect who has a judicial philosophy that will uphold the Constitution of the United States. Judge Barrett represents the best of America. pic.twitter.com/TiijzM4iIP

As the Senate begins to move through the interview, advisement, and confirmation process, this story will rise to the forefront of the election narrative. Barrett’s powerful legal mind, paired with her devotion to the US Constitution, will likely get her confirmed before November with the majority of Americans cheering her on.
