(AmericanProsperity.com) – On Friday, the Treasury Department and IRS announced the creation of the long-promised web portal for those who weren’t able to get their Economic Impact Payment right away. Individuals who didn’t file a tax return in 2018 or 2019 are experiencing delays in receiving their payment. Now, the web portal allows people to provide the IRS with the required information to receive their payments.
.@USTreasury and @IRSNews just launched a FREE web portal for millions of Americans who are not required to file tax returns to make sure they get their payment as quickly and securely as possible! Visit the portal here: https://t.co/dU36zCwUtB

To provide the IRS with your information, go to IRS.gov and click on the “Non-Filers: Enter Payment Info Here” blue button. You’ll need to provide the IRS with your full names, social security number (including spouse and any dependents), mailing address, and bank account information.
If you’re collecting Social Security, you do NOT have to do a thing — the IRS will communicate with the Social Security Administration to make your payment.
The CARES Act provides all US citizens and permanent residents who make below $75,000 a $1,200 payment. Married couples making under $150,000 combined will receive $2,400, plus an additional $500 for each dependent child under 17.
Now that this new web portal is operational, everyone can receive what Congress promised them.
