(AmericanProsperity.com) – For outgoing presidents and their cabinet, the months after leaving office can be a bit tricky when figuring out the next steps after leading the free world for another four years. Former Vice President Mike Pence and his wife Karen just announced they will take on this new chapter of their lives by creating a “transition” office near our nation’s capital in order to keep serving our nation.
On Wednesday, February 3, Pence announced the opening of the “Office of the Former Vice President.” NTD News shares more about the purpose of the office:

This announcement is Pence’s first public statement since he attended Joe Biden’s inauguration on January 20. That day, he returned to his home state of Indiana and told supporters that serving with former President Donald Trump was “the greatest honor of my life.”
For now, the Pences live in Northern Virginia, though are expected to return to Indiana in the coming months. Hopefully, this new office will allow them to continue to fight for causes Americans hold dear every day.
