(AmericanProsperity.com) – On Thursday, the Democratic National Committee (DNC) moved this weekend’s Democratic presidential debate in light of the coronavirus outbreak. Former Vice President Joe Biden and Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-VT) had their debate scheduled in Phoenix, AZ on March 15 ahead of next week’s primary. It has now been moved to Washington, D.C.
The DNC said it was out of an abundance of caution, the debate will be held at CNN’s studio with no live audience.
The upcoming #DemocraticDebate on March 15 will be held without a live audience due to #COVID19 concerns.

Both Biden and Sanders have canceled their own campaign events this week and are moving towards live online events with voters to reduce the chances of a potential viral outbreak.
The Arizona Democratic Party expressed disappointment but said, “the public’s health comes first.” In addition to the move, Jorge Ramos stepped down from his role as a moderator after coming into contact with a person who tested positive for coronavirus. He’s reportedly in good health and symptom-free.
