Biden Tells His Biggest Lie Yet About Trump And COVID…Did He Seriously Just Say This?
(Tea Party 247) – Joe Biden just said that literally no one would have died of coronavirus if it weren’t for Trump.
And they think it’s a conspiracy that we question his cognitive state?
This dude is whacko.
He made this outrageous claim during a CNN town hall on Thursday night, where the network did their best to toss Biden the softest, least offensive questions they could possibly muster, so naturally, they didn’t push back.
“If the president had done his job, had done his job from the beginning, all the people would still be alive,” Biden said. “All the people — I’m not making this up. Just look at the data. Look at the data.”
All the people.
What the heck is he talking about?!
And where were the fact-checkers on this one?
Or does it insult all of our intelligence to even ask this question?
CNN’s Anderson Cooper, who likes to pretend like he’s a serious, unbiased news man, just stood there “like a toad on a stool,” as BizPac Review quipped, and said absolutely nothing.
The Washington Post, however, was forced to question this claim, as the one thread of integrity left at the outlet is that they will occasionally issue brutal fact-checks to those on their own side of the aisle (because, again, who are we kidding, they basically work for the Democrats).
Actually, Biden is making this up. There is no data to support this, even if the president had moved rapidly in January to deal with the coronavirus and been able to persuade the Chinese leadership to be more forthcoming about the situation. Even nations that have been praised for their handling of the pandemic, such as South Korea, New Zealand and Iceland, have suffered some deaths.
What’s more, as BPR notes, “Biden went on to disparage any hope Americans may have about a COVID-19 vaccine, which the president has said could be available before the end of the year.”
“So the idea that there’s going to be a vaccine and everything is going to be fine tomorrow is just not rational, not reasonable,” he declared.
Oh, so we can’t even wait for the vaccine now? Wow, American voters are going to love that, Joe.
Remember, Biden also opposed the travel ban that Trump imposed in the early days of the virus, which POTUS has claimed more than once saved “millions” of lives.
